It leads to reduction in the formation of prostaglandins (PGs) from arachidonic acid. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs are a class of drugs that provides analgesic that means relief from pain, antipyretic that means a reduction in fever and anti-inflammatory effects.
The oral dose of COBIX 100mg varies according to the medical conditions for which it is used. The recommended oral dose for osteoarthritis is 100 mg per day administered twice a day; for rheumatoid arthritis,the recommended oral dose is 100 mg twice daily and for ankylosing spondylitis, the recommended oral dose is 100 mg twice daily.

In case you skip a dose take another dose as soon as you remember, and then go back to taking your medicines as recommended. Do not take double dose in order to make up for the skipped dose. Overdosing should be avoided at any cost as it may lead to adverse effects. In case of emergency, contact your doctor immediately.It should be stored away from direct sunlight and heat. Cobix 100 mg should be avoided in the following medical conditions:-
- If you have a history of heart disorders;
- If you have high blood pressure problems;
- If you are suffering from severe liver complications;
- If you have certain types of arthritis which cannot be treated by this drug.
